Luciferase detection kit
Luciferase is a general term for enzymes that can produce bioluminescence in nature. The most representative types of luciferase are those from Firefly and Renilla. Luciferase catalyzes the conversion of specific luciferin substrates to oxyluciferin and emits intense light.

HanBio provides luciferase and dual luciferase detection kits to help you operate experiments easily and efficiently.

Product packaging and storage conditions of firefly kit:
Luciferase(firefly)Reporter Assay Kit(100 rxns)
Luciferase Reaction Buffer10mL
Luciferase Reaction Substrate(Lyophilized)1 vial
Lysis Buffer(5X)

10mL

The kit was stored at -20 °C. Lysis Buffer- can be stored for one year at 20 °C. After adding the substrate, the Luciferase Reaction Reagent was packaged and stored in the dark. -70℃ can be stored for one year, -20℃ can be stored for one month; avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Reagents were equilibrated to room temperature before use.
Principle of experiment:

Firefly luciferase (fluc) can catalyze the bioluminescence reaction of luciferin. The reaction process is shown in the following figure

The assay kit used fluorescein as a substrate to detect the activity of firefly reporter gene. This method has the advantages of simple operation, fast detection and high sensitivity.

Packaging and storage conditions of dual luciferase kit:
Dual-Luciferase Reporter Assay Kit(100 rxns)
Luciferase Reaction Buffer 10mL
Luciferase Reaction Substrate(Lyophilized) 1 vial
Luciferase Reaction Buffer II 10mL
Luciferase Reaction Substrate II(125X) 80μL
Lysis Buffer(5X) 10mL
The kit was stored at -20 ° C. Lysis Buffer- can be stored for one year at 20 ° C. The Luciferase Reaction Reagent and Luciferase Reaction Reagent II were packaged and stored in a dark place after adding the substrate. -70℃ can be stored for one year, -20℃ can be stored for one month; Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Reagents were equilibrated to room temperature before use.
Principle of experiment:

Firefly luciferase (fluc) and renilla luciferase (renilla luciferase, rluc) can catalyze the bioluminescence reaction of luciferin and coelenterazine, respectively, as shown in the following figure.

In the dual-luciferase Reaction, the fLuc signal was detected by Luciferase Reaction Reagent I. Subsequently, Luciferase Reaction Reagent II was added directly. The signal of fLuc was quenched and the rLuc signal was generated at the same time. This method has the advantages of simple operation, fast detection and high sensitivity.
